YouTube Audio Downloader (CLI)
Extract authorized YouTube audio locally as original audio or MP3 at 64–320 kbps.
Use this tool in the OneKit CLI.
YouTube audio extraction cannot run reliably in a standalone browser. The CLI prepares yt-dlp, its JavaScript support, Node.js and FFmpeg automatically on first use. Downloads and conversion run on your device, up to 128 MiB.
For a direct audio file URL, use the browser audio downloader.
Downloading requires authorization
This tool does not grant permission to download or reuse content. YouTube’s terms restrict downloading except in authorized cases; check the service terms and applicable rights. Owning a work alone does not establish authorization for every method of access. No DRM bypass is provided.
