How to use XML to Excel

  1. Choose your XML or paste text into the editor.
  2. Upload XML or paste markup with repeated records under one root. Attributes become columns; nested records require JSON conversion first.
  3. Download the XLSX workbook. Values are stored as data, not executable formulas.

Process multiple files

Use a workflow to apply the same settings to each file.

What to expect

XML tables use repeated flat records. JSON to XML preserves types using a typed root/item schema; XML attributes use @ and text uses #text in JSON. Spreadsheet formulas are not evaluated; the first sheet is used by default. Review schema and values after conversion.

Do my files leave my device?
